Ever found yourself in the position of getting an offer that you’re not interested in and then, the offer comes off the table. This happened to me and I found myself fighting for it even though I hadn’t been that bothered previously.

What happened?

I didn’t want to lose something especially now that it was scarce. Ridiculous and I’ve really had to push myself to realise that it’s not a very big deal.

Indeed, it’s a most excellent technique of garnering interest in what you have to offer. Psychology is always at play. You can see how this would impact a person in a sales situation but what else is going on around you that you’re not always aware of? Are you blocking off sales and promotion opportunities without even realising it.
